  • 1 person is interested

Project Soar is a non-profit 501(C)(3) organization, registered in the U.S. and in Morocco, working to empower adolescent girls through programming focused on teaching girls to know their Value, their Voice, their Body, their Rights, and their Path. Our programming is in the shape of weekly, facilitated workshops. Project Soar is now working with hundreds of Moroccan girls, providing thousands of hours of academic support, empowerment training, and leadership coaching - and we are just getting started.

As we prepare for continued development, we are looking for volunteers to join our Grant Writing Team. The efforts of this team are critical to the growth of our current programs, and the launch of new initiatives that support our efforts to impact more girls. Over the past year, in collaboration with the Peace Corps, we have expanded from one Project Soar site to 24 sites, and we are looking ahead to fund continued expansion in Morocco, to expand to additional countries, to build of a digital alumni community, and to use of technology as a catalyst for Project Soar’s support of girls worldwide.

Candidates can be based anywhere with strong internet. It is important to note that Project Soar is an international organization, working across multiple time zones, which can create both delayed and accelerated responses and deadlines. Candidate must be flexible and should be an exceptional communicator.
