The KEEN (Kids Enjoy Exercise Now) Young Professionals (KYP) are seeking a Public Relations Chair to lead our strategic communications efforts. This role will include providing timely and comprehensive information to members about events, service opportunities, and other matters of interest via monthly newsletters and e-mail. The Public Relations chair will create and maintain a favorable image of the group working for the professional development of its members by: (a) keeping membership informed of projects, activities, and upcoming meetings, and (b) disseminating relevant professional information viewed as beneficial to the members. No experience necessary, this will be an excellent opportunity for a young professional to acquire experience in this field. Exceptional work will warrant thoughtful recommendations for your own career development.

Duties will include directing all the marketing and public relations activities of KYP, developing and distributing announcements to KYP members, working with the KYP Executive Board to develop monthly meeting reminders and any other event announcements, attending and participating in scheduled Member and Board meetings, participating in the development and implementation of short-term and long-term strategic planning for KYP, and assist with other projects as requested.

KEEN Young Professionals is a group of young professionals aged 22-40 with a mission to enhance KEEN’s ability to provide exceptional programming while creating an enriching community for motivated individuals through opportunities to develop socially, civically, and professionally. KEEN Young Professionals serve KEEN (Kids Enjoy Exercise Now), a St. Louis nonprofit providing recreational opportunities for youth with disabilities.
