Description: This internship opportunity is focused on Bike MS: PGA TOUR Cycle to the Shore, a two-day fundraising cycling event from Ponte Vedra to Daytona Beach and back. Last year, the event raised over $1 million and around 1,300 cyclists and volunteers participated. During the Spring semester, our focus will primarily be on ridership - event registration, including retention of past participants and acquisition of new cyclists - and solicitation of in-kind donations for the event. The intern will be responsible for assisting with rider retention and acquisition, soliciting in-kind donations of food and supplies and supporting team cultivation and fundraising events. In addition, the intern will learn about the logistics involved in implementing a two-day cycling event and have the opportunity to contribute to monthly logistics meetings.

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society mobilizes people and resources to drive research for a cure and to address the challenges of everyone affected by MS. To fulfill this mission, the Society funds cutting-edge research, drives change through advocacy, facilitates professional education, collaborates with MS organizations around the world, and provides programs and services designed to help people with MS and their families move their lives forward.
