We need an Air Miles Coordinator!

A large part of the job would be to find people with air miles to donate to humanitarian workers who need to participate in Petra Peacebuilders' programs!

Have you ever thought about how much of a global nonprofit's costs are eaten up by international airfare?

Now: Have you ever thought about how many people (especially executive business travelers) have air miles that they are sitting on, and perhaps willing to share?

Our experience at Petra Peacebuilders has been that people will gladly donate a good portion of their accumulated air miles to causes they believe are important.

Petra's programs reach people all around the world, many of them working in conflict zones. We walk alongside them with crisis counseling, debriefing, trauma-related training, and coaching. All these are geared toward the specific needs of humanitarian workers and global peacebuilders.

It takes a lot of airfare--and therefore a lot of money--to get these people the benefits of what we provide them.

Donated air miles are a HUGE gift-in-kind that help us keep our costs lower, so that more of our dollar contributions can go to taking care of the people who need us.
