The Veterans Community Living Center at the Anschutz campus is looking for two volunteer Poker Dealers to deal cards on Thursdays. Poker is an important activity for veterans and they are serious and passionate about it. We have two tables playing poker every Thursday. Most months there are four weeks to a month and on these months we need Poker Dealers that can deal cards on Thursdays, from 9:45 to 11:30 three times a month. One week a month we need a Poker Dealer that can deal cards in the afternoon at 12:45 to 2:30. These time frames include set up and closing time. We value reliability, patience, friendliness and individuals that shows up on time and when scheduled. We are looking for two volunteers to share the experience. The credentialing process includes a background check, finger printing and drug testing. It takes approximately three weeks to be cleared. We hope to have you start in January with a training and orientation program! Its a fun way to volunteer with Veterans.
