The Scottsdale Arts Festival is a major fundraiser for Scottsdale Arts, the non-profit organization that manages Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, Scottsdale Public Art and Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art. Proceeds of the event benefit the arts, education and outreach opportunities for the community. Every year, the Scottsdale Arts Festival uses an average of 300 volunteers over the 3 day event. This year, the festival will take place on March 9 - 11, 2018, and volunteers are needed from 9:00AM to 5:00PM. Volunteers receive lunch, a free shirt, and a ticket to attend the festival on a day in which they are not working. If a volunteer refers a friend and the friend works their assigned shift, the volunteer will be entered into a drawing to win a basket from the organization after the festival takes place.

On an annual basis, the SCPA presents more than 400 performing arts events in theater, dance, classical music, world music, jazz, family presentations and festivals.
