Do you like to worship? Have a gift for music? Enjoy sharing your insights and encouragement with other people? We have residents who need an encouraging word ... often. We aren't looking for people to do "nursing home church." We are looking for someone to provide an inspiring opportunity that conveys a reason to be hopeful in the midst of challenging circumstances, to feel God's warmth and presence in the midst of loneliness, and encouragement to help others in whatever way, no matter how limited, may be possible. Help with some music, read some scripture, and most of all ENCOURAGE. Life is tough enough. Help us lift up and empower those who are challenged with limitations and disabilities.
We need someone to conduct a small worship opportunity with a big feel on the fourth Sunday of each month starting around 9:30 to 10 a.m. It should run 30-45 min.
You will have the full support of a full-time Director of Spirituality and Quality of Life Director as well as activities assistants. We have a sound system and mics. We can help gather the folks. We just need you.
