Family Promise of Greater Denver (familypromiseofgreaterdenver.org) helps to house families experiencing homelessness. We have access to a warehouse that is full of large furniture items as well as smaller items that we as an organization store there.
We are in need of 2 types of volunteers:
1) Help keep our storage space organized
2) Meet families at the warehouse as they pick up items needed for their new homes

Our mission is to form relationships with families at risk of or experiencing homelessness by providing shelter, meals, and a spectrum of supportive services as they obtain permanent stability.
Description
Family Promise of Greater Denver provides shelter, meals, rental assistance, and supportive services to families experiencing homelessness in the Denver area. We also work with families on employment, long-term housing solutions and other goals to ensure self-sufficiency and a brighter future.
Family Promise of Greater Denver began serving homeless families in 1997 and is part of a national network of 180+ affiliates. Since our founding, we’ve helped more than 1,000 families, including 1,900 children. Today, an average of 70% of families leave with housing and 85% of adults secure employment while they’re in the program!
