The White Bear Area Emergency Food Shelf offers Bonus Saturday each week to our neighbors to help supplement their once-a-month shopping. Set Up Volunteers are needed Friday afternoon from 12:00-2:30 pm to help sort food rescue delivered by Second Harvest Heartland. Volunteers will sort deli, produce, meat, dairy and dry goods. Volunteers will also help set the market up for Bonus Saturday by moving tables and arranging food. This distribution has a high impact in our community serving many neighbors in our immediate and surrounding community. We serve upwards of 125 families every Saturday. Volunteers are asked to commit to a shift every or every other week for 6 months. (We can work around vacations.)
