We need your unique skills and training as a licensed Cosmetologist or Esthetician to conduct workshops.
Being diagnosed with cancer can be overwhelming, and cancer treatments often change the way someone looks and can affect their self-esteem. We can help people regain their confidence and self-esteem through the Look Good Feel Better program. In a supportive group setting, patients learn simple beauty techniques to help manage the appearance-related side effects of treatment. They also have a chance to talk with other cancer patients going through similar experiences. Program volunteers make a difference, and really help patients look and feel better.

Mission Statement
The American Cancer Society Road To Recovery program is a free service in which volunteer drivers provide transportation for people with cancer to and from scheduled appointments for medically related cancer care in the Yuma area.
Description
The program is offered to people with cancer who have no means of transportation and/or who are too ill to drive themselves. Access to transportation is a major factor in cancer treatment, and this American Cancer Society service offers assistance to people who otherwise might not be able to keep their treatment appointment
