Enjoy a luncheon with speaker presentation, provided by the Shepherd's Center of Fairfax-Burke on January 18, 2018. Time is noon to 2 PM. The speaker will be John Cox, a volunteer guide for the U.S. Capitol Building. John will be taking you on a tour of the capitol, without the trip into DC, or all the walking. The title of the presentation is "A Brief History of the U.S. Capital Building". The fee for the speaker luncheon is $10 per person. A catered lunch is provided. Make new friends, learn about the U.S. Capital Building, and have a delicious meal. All ages are welcome, even though the Shepherd's Center serves local seniors, we enjoy having you for our luncheons, no matter where you live or your age.

Description
The Shepherd's Center of Fairfax-Burke was established in 2006 as a non-profit organization that supports older adults in the local community. SCFB provides medical and shopping transportation, social events, exercise classes, luncheons, and educational classes to seniors, age 50+, so they may live independently and with dignity.
