Lend a hand--we promise it won't get too sticky--at Teachers' Treasures annual 5K Donut Dash! We need a variety of volunteers on both Friday and Saturday to help this tasty race be successful.
Volunteers on Friday February 16th will help early-registration runners pick up packets and t-shirts. Time will vary on this day.
Volunteers on Saturday February 17th will help with a variety of tasks, including handing out registration packets, passing out donuts to spectators, passing out water, and managing the world famous Donut Challenge (i.e watching runners snarf down 12 dozen donut holes as quickly as possible).
This is one of our biggest events of the year and brings in a lot of support for Teachers' Treasures mission of providing quality school supplies to teachers in Marion County at schools with 60% or higher free and reduced lunch rates. Something as simple as a pencil can make the difference in a student's life.

Mission Statement
Teachers' Treasures obtains and distributes school supplies to teachers of classrooms and students in need.
Description
Every day at public, charter, private, and parochial schools located throughout Marion County, children of all ages attend class without the most basic supplies they need to get a good education. Dedicated teachers are often willing to pay for these much needed supplies out of their own pockets to make sure the kids in their classrooms have the necessary tools to learn.
Teachers' Treasures, in partnership with local businesses, charitable foundations, neighborhood organizations and individual contributors, helps fill this need by operating a volunteer based "Free Store for Teachers." Donated educational supplies and other materials are distributed via this unique conduit to teachers for the benefit of their students.
Teachers' Treasures offers a variety of group volunteer activities that can be tailored to your group or organization. Please contact Hanna Yaeger-Busch at hanna@teacherstreasures.org or call 317-264-1758 for more information.
Teachers who volunteer 2 or more hours can earn extra shopping passes. Teachers who are normally ineligible to shop can also volunteer to earn opportunities to shop.
