CONNECTING LOCAL FAMILIES
A group of Japanese students is coming to Olympia, and they need host families! Our group will go on local excursions, take english classes and volunteer work. Transportation is provided! They will stay with their group during weekdays 9-5 and experience American living with host families. Don't miss this fun and enriching learning opportunity.
We have a very fun filled packed schedule and host families and siblings are more than welcome to join us on our adventures! Our daily meeting point to is Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd next to Olympia High School. This is where they will take english classes and our van will leave for excursions.
This is an exciting program every summer, filled with cultural enrichment and learning. I am trying to keep everything very local, with families, classes and meeting places all being in Olympia, connecting our community with this amazing cultural exchange. I will be doing all activities with them, and will be available 24/7 during the program. All families receive a weekly stipend for this program.

Greenheart Exchange is a non-profit company that works with local coordinators to ensure a great experience for all students, schools and families involved. Your local coordinator will be available for in home orientations, face to face meetings and close communication during the program.
Greenheart has more than 30 years of experience in cultural exchange.
