Project SHINE a program of Spring Institute for Intercultural Learning will be holding several Winter Break camps for refugee children in the Colfax-Yosemite area of Denver. If you are an IB student and need volunteer hours towards graduation, this is a great opportunity.

Description
Spring Institute for Intercultural Learning works with newly arrived refugees and immigrants from all over the world. Spring is the educational arm in their adjustment to the US. Spring offers Community English Second Language, CESL classes throughout the Denver metro area. These classes teach life skills such as making a doctor's appointment, shopping, and taking public transportation. The classes are oftne housed in schools and libraries.
