Do you like working with people? Are you outgoing and friendly? Then this may be the perfect volunteer opportunity for you. You will receive training on the cash register during your orientation. Volunteers work a four-hour shift, usually one shift per week, but can work more or less depending on schedule. Evening and weekend hours are available.

We currently have a vital need for a volunteer who can work independently at the gift shop at our Southwest campus (across from the Healthplex) on Thursdays or Fridays.

Capital Region Medical Center's volunteers who give at least 8 hours per month receive these benefits:

• Employee rates at the Sam B. Cook Healthplex
• A 20% discount at all CRMC gift shops on the day they volunteer
• A 20% discount on over-the-counter medications at the Capital Care Pharmacy
• One complimentary meal in the CRMC cafeteria on the day they volunteer
• A free annual flu shot
