About

Do you enjoy working with kids? Learning and sharing local history? Join our education team and help with a monthly education program!
The Williamson Museum offers a free, come and go, craft activity on the second Saturday of each month. The craft is tied to a historical event or activity, and has included topics like the art of the fan, mascots, the Red Cross lassies (and donuts!).

Volunteers should be comfortable with public speaking and working with children, passionate about education, and have an interest in history. Education Volunteers will receive training materials and have the option of shadowing other volunteers before conducting an education program. Ideal for students looking for service hours.
