New Horizons Senior Center in Narberth is a unique community center that has served adults 55 and over for the last 41 years. The Center is unique because all of its programs are led by credentialed volunteers. The seniors we serve are active, engaged in the community and living in their own homes. In fact, our mission is to provide programs and services that help them to achieve all of these things!
New Horizons' vivacious members are regularly requesting dance classes at New Horizons! We had a very popular line dancing course in the past, Zumba Gold, and even square dancing! The format of these classes are open to being changed and upgraded, and we welcome a fresh, modern take. Volunteer hours are flexible and we can tailor a course for a set amount of time, or on-going, whatever suits your schedule and interest.
Our volunteer leaders are credentialed in some way - so we invite anyone with a degree, certification, or equivalent experience in dance to please get in touch! We're open to all kinds of dance.

The mission of New Horizons Senior Center is to enable older adults to live independently in their own homes, form meaningful connections with others, and engage in lifelong learning.
Description
New Horizons (NH) has served an ever-growing number of vulnerable seniors for thirty-eight years.
We provide an impressive array of ever-expanding programs and vital services that evolve directly
from our unwavering mission: to enable older adults to live independently and age in place, form
meaningful connections with others, and engage in lifelong learning. The Center’s wide-ranging
programming fits into several broad categories: A. Recreation & Socialization; B. Educational Programs; C. Health and Fitness; and D. Supportive Services including a nutritious, daily Congregate Meal.
Located in Narberth, our welcoming handicapped-accessible facility is easily accessed via public transit with free transportation available through TransNet. New Horizons is inviting to even the frailest elders and seniors of all ages because of its accessibility, core mission, the caring camaraderie of the members, its loving and devoted staff and over 140 volunteers. NH offers seniors
the opportunity to develop new relationships and become part of an active community that can support and sustain them.
We serve over 1,000 seniors annually, and the number of vulnerable seniors in our community is growing each year. There is an ever increasing need for our services, and in the last four years our membership has grown by 40%.
