Beginning November 2017, Baltimore City Department of Reacreation and Parks (BCRP) kicks off BALT, a pilot program designed to engage teens and young adults. Through January 6, 2018, rec center hours will extend until 11pm on Fridays and on Saturdays from 5pm-12am at the following locations:

With BALT, young people will enjoy a variety of activities including: entrepreneurship, mentorship, health & sports. GED prep, college readiness, and creative workshops. Each week, activities will focus on a new theme.

Community Engagement & Strategic Partnerships with Baltimore City Recreation and Parks (BCRP) works with corporate, religious, academic, non-profit and volunteer groups maintaining parks in Baltimore City through community involvement. We organize events that encourage environmental awareness within the local community. Activities are designed to inform, engage, and inspire community participants to positively embrace and impact their environment. We encourage communities and corporate benefactors to become more concerned, involved, and conscious about Baltimore City parks.
