The Austin Energy Regional Science Festival is the one of the largest of 13 regional science fairs in Texas, covering 23 school districts in 12 counties.
In 2018, more than 10,000 people attended Science Fest as students, teachers, parents, judges or volunteers. Events included the public viewing of science projects, educational booths and scientific demonstrations, as well as the award ceremonies.
We need general volunteers to assist with registration and project set-up, monitoring students' well-being during judging sessions and the awards ceremonies.
You can register at http://www.sciencefest.org/volunteers or contact volunteercoordinator@austinscience.org (Teri Ruffino) for more information.
