The Ladder Alliance is a non-profit organization that aids victims of domestic violence, and low income women strive for self sufficiency. We support these women by providing computer training to assist them in obtaining a career.
We are seeking knowledgeable, committed, and willing computer savvy individuals to join our group of volunteer instructors.
As an Assistant Instructor, you will support the Instructor by working with students who require more attention during lessons, demonstrating skills, and administering exams. This position allows you to gain or polish your presentation skills, while working with groups of hardworking women.
Our night classes are from 6:30-8:30 twice a week (either MW or TTh), Assistant Instructors are asked to commit to at least one consistent class per week for 22 weeks. This is an ongoing opportunity, with the potential for advancement into an instructors position if you desire to do so.
