The Umlauf is a wonderful oasis of art and nature in South Austin. Every season shows off our art in a different way, allowing new perspective on the sculptures. Our garden is maintained primarily through volunteer clean-up efforts and the experience is visually rewarding for all!
Small and Large groups (5-40 ideally) can spend 3-5 hours Tuesdays-Sundays working in the UMLAUF Garden.
A few responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Sweep debris off steps going up the hill
- Rake and bag leaves in garden
- Weed all areas of the garden
- Remove access plants
Our volunteer groups make a measurable difference in the beauty of the Umlauf Sculpture Garden.
