Yamba Malawi is a nonprofit based in Brooklyn, NY.
We are hosting Meet Me in Malawi on Sunday, January 13, a family-focused, educational event featuring arts & crafts, activities, and entertainment thematically tied to our programs. Meet Me in Malawi will raise awareness and educate children and their families about our work to break the cycle of poverty and support vulnerable children in Malawi.
EVENT DETAILS:
Date: Sunday, January 13, 2019
Time: 10am - 12:30pm (Setup before and breakdown after event not included)
Location: 26 Bridge Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201
Volunteers will assist with setup and cleanup, registration, and child programming, including managing arts and crafts, games, and other fun activity stations.

Setup (8:30-10am) and/or breakdown (12:30-1:30pm)

Since their founding, Yamba Malawi has built 10 community-level businesses, launched 40 household businesses, and impacted the lives of over 100,000 vulnerable children.
