Electronic Synergy Foundation (ESF) is a non-profit (501C3) electronic recycling company. We collect unwanted electronics. Unusable items are sent for material recovery and made into new stuff. The usable items are refurbished (data destruction/minor repairs) and donated to other non-profit organizations, or sold.

Among our sales channels are Facebook and eBay. In order to sell on these platforms, someone has to take the item's picture and enter it's description (technicians test the item and write the description).

Some understanding of photography is helpful. So is the ability to copy and understand technical terms and concepts. Previous online sales posting experiences is helpful as well. However we are willing to train those with basic skills who lack experience.

Because of the nature of this work, and the training investment required, we have to limit this opportunity to those willing to work 4 hour shifts, with a 20 hour (over a semester) commitment.

Successful volunteers will come away with commercial level online selling skills that are useful to both employers and themselves.
