Would you like to make a christmas gift for you and your friends.We are looking for volunteers to assist us with our winter outreach for our free English classes for Immigrants beginning in January 2018 !All levels of English literacy offered.We want you to help us spread the word.

Jacob A. Riis Neighborhood Settlement House is a community based non-profit organization that offers comprehensive services to the youth, adults, seniors and families in the Western Queens Community. The resources, opportunities and support we provide serve as a catalyst for community members to reach their greatest potential and achieve social and economic self-sufficiency.

Description

A multi-service community-based organization in Long Island City Queens, Riis Settlement offers after-school programs for youth, adolescent services, immigrant services, including adult ESOL classes, and Senior Citizen support programs.
