Archway Housing & Services is a non-profit company that builds and manages affordable housing communities for low-income families and individuals. We also offer free, on-site social services to all of our residents, including: Youth Enrichment Programs, Community Events, Free Food Bank, and Adult Educational Classes.
We are currently looking for a Computer Teacher to teach basic computer skills to immigrants and refugees in Aurora (Yosemite and Colfax) at our Greenleaf Apartments community. This would include navigating the internet, checking emails, and making a Word document. We have a computer lab with 3 computers for community use. The class size would be around 5 adult men and women, so they would need to work on the computers in pairs. We are looking for someone to teach 1 day a week for 1 hour, preferably between 10:00 am and 2:00pm. We are open Mondays - Fridays.
Archway is a wonderful organization committed to helping the most needy in our community! Please consider donating your time and talent to helping adults learn computer skills! Thank you for your consideration.

Mission Statement
Archway Communities elevates lives by providing access to affordable housing, food security and the supportive social services people need to thrive.
Description
Archway Communities was founded with the belief that affordable housing is a crucial element in building healthy communities. In pursuit of that belief, we seek opportunities to purchase vacant land for new construction or renovate obsolete multifamily developments. Shortly after we were founded, we began to recognize that residents need more than affordable housing to stabilize their lives - many were struggling with challenges like food insecurity, recovering from chronic homelessness, unemployment, single parenting, obtaining citizenship, and others. Archway Communities instituted the Supportive Services Program- resident focused, on-site programming- to address the needs of those living in our communities beyond simply providing a roof over their heads.
