The 46th Annual National Down Syndrome Congress Convention is coming to the Sheraton Dallas Hotel & Convention Center. The NDSC welcomes over 3000 people to our annual convention, and we require a great deal of volunteer support to make the convention a success. Our areas of volunteer need include Registration, Floaters, Session Hosts, the Youth & Adults Conference, and Kids' Camp. There are a variety of volunteer times slots throughout the weekend.
At the Youth & Adults Conference, individuals with Down syndrome age 16 and older participate in their own convention activities throughout the weekend, while those in Kids' Camp (ages 6 mos to 14 years) have a great time in a camp-like setting, all while their parents attend workshops related to aspects of having a child with Down syndrome. Our volunteers in these areas support those with Down syndrome making sure they are engaged and having a great time during their activities.
We are also seeking volunteers to help with convention registration, at the Educators' Conference, and as session hosts or floaters. More information about volunteering can be found on our volunteer registration website at http://ndsc.ivolunteer.com/dallas_2018.
