The Sexual Assault Crisis Service is now accepting applications for our spring Counselor Advocate Training class! This in-depth training covers the dynamics of sexual assault/abuse and its effects on survivors and their loved ones. This class is for anyone interested in volunteering on our 24-hr hotline and may also be taken for professional development. Once the course is completed, we ask volunteers to commit to one year of volunteering two shifts per month.

This class will be held on Thursday evenings 5:30-8:30 at the New Britain Police Department from 2/8/18 - 5/17/18. You may download an application on our website at or contact Liz Halla-Mattingly, Volunteer Coordinator, at or (860) 225-4681 ext. 332.
