CPSA is always looking for responsible and enthusiastic individuals to manage or coach baseball and softball teams for children ages 4 - 18.
Being a manager or coach requires time, patience, and basic knowledge of the game. You may be required to attend meetings or instructional sessions. You will communicate with the parents/guardians of your players to inform them of any schedule changes, rainouts, events and activities.
Your goal as a coach should be to instruct athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy and physical training necessary for players to realize a degree of individual and team success. At the same time, you must instruct and demonstrate behaviors that lead to socially acceptable character development, self discipline, self confidence, and pride of accomplishment in the athletes.

Through proper guidance and exemplary leadership, our program assists youth in developing the qualities of citizenship, discipline, teamwork and physical well-being. By espousing the virtues of character, courage, and loyalty, the program is designed to develop superior citizens rather than superior athletes. Our focus is to encourage participation, develop character and discipline, promote teamwork, and advocate citizenship and community pride. We will strive to provide quality instruction in the development of baseball/softball skills, sportsmanship, competitiveness, and fair play.
