This is such a fabulous volunteer opportunity!!
You spend one hour a week. It is very flexible, no set days. You go when it is convenient for you.
Let me share my last visit at Buckcreek. It was with a gentleman who truly wants a volunteer! He lives in the Independent Section of the community (building). He is a widow and has a small dog who gives him love and a meaning to carry on. He just wants someone to talk to him; let him share his story.
Isn't that a great way to volunteer, give back, make a friend?
Please consider Brookdale Hospice. We do require fingerprints and urine drug screen; but we pay for everything! It's really not a hard process.
