Volunteer tutoring adult immigrants and refugees in English. Minimum requirement: 2 hours a week for at least 3 months. All meetings are online at a time convenient for learner and tutor. Tutor is responsible for creating lesson plans for each session. A second language is not required.

Description
Glenwood Branch Library is home to the Multicultural Resource Center. Here you will find the Library's foreign language learning collection, as well as materials in at least nine different languages. Glenwood offers extensive programs and services for speakers of other languages (ESOL) who are learning English, including classes, one-on-one tutoring, literacy materials to checkout and software, Rosetta Stone, in a specialized ESL computer lab.
