ORGANIZATION: VIA CENTER

Logo

Via Center School is seeking to hire a grant writer to secure funding for special projects and current programs. Our school serves students with autism and other intellectual disabilities. Students range in age from 6-22 years of age and benefit from the small familial like environment. Each student attending Via Center works with a 1 to 1 aide in addition to a credentialed special education teacher. The one-on-one attention each student receives helps them progress towards their academic and behavioral goals.
Via Center was established in 1984 by a mother and educator whose son was on the autism spectrum. She desired to create a school that would cater to students that had difficulties succeeding in public schools. Via Center would like to partner with an established grant writer that will help the school secure funding for projects and ongoing needs.
