Registration: Assist pre-registered participants with packets & race shirt pick-up.
Refreshments 1 & 2: Distribute water to participants on course
Course Monitors: Ensure participants are safe, going the right direction, answer any questions
Gear Check: Pre & post-race; labeling and organizing runner's belongings Sponsor Activation: Assist with sponsor needs including load-in; setup and teardown
Information Booth: Direct participants towards start line; answer any questions
Day-of Registration: Register participants; distribute race bib/packet & race shirt
One Mile Course: Assist participants on critical turns within the course
Strike Force: Course trash sweep, signage collection
Volunteer Check-in: Check-in all volunteers; distribute shirts; let staff know of any vacant roles

Description
As successful as the Valero Texas Open was "inside the ropes," the most fulfilling aspect is the event’s impact "outside the ropes." Last year we were proud to become only the fourth PGA TOUR event to eclipse the $100 Million milestone in cumulative funds raised for charity. Thanks to growing community support, the 2016 Valero Texas Open, along with the Valero Benefit for Children, raised a record $10.5 million, bringing the grand total to $115.5 million in charitable giving.
