Helpful AND happy. The best combination!

Be a cashier and the first smiling face our customers see when they walk through the door. Our cashiers are known for their attention to detail and friendly customer service! In addition to operating the cash register, other organizational duties may be assigned during slower periods of the day, and volunteers in all areas should be flexible on doing a variety of tasks as needed.

Great shopping, greater cause. Legacy Thrift stores provide individuals, families, and small groups a tremendous opportunity to help carry out the Great Commission to "the end of the earth." For every four hours the store is open, you will enable their partner, Unknown Nations (formerly World Mission), to send 10 solar-powered audio Bibles known as "Treasures" to unreached people groups without access to the gospel.

Whether you're available weekly or monthly, we can accommodate your schedule. Choose the hours that work best for you - we're flexible! You will love the friendly environment and the wide variety of activities our volunteers accomplish. If you would like to help change the world without even leaving town, this is the opportunity for you!

About Unknown Nations

Location:

4200 Alpine Ave NW, Comstock Park, MI 49321, US

Mission Statement

To reach the unknown nations at the ends of the Earth--completing the last four words of Jesus’ calling.

Description

Unknown Nations was originally founded in 1994 as World Mission with a simple but ambitious mission: to reach the ends of the Earth. Founded by Paul Land, World Mission was largely funded by Land’s thrift stores.

Today, as we did then, we believe that everyone deserves to hear the gospel, and we are committed to using innovative methods to reach the world’s most unreached people groups.

We work in partnership with local churches and organizations to provide humanitarian aid, medical care, and disaster relief. We also use audio Bibles, solar-powered radios, and other technology to reach people who have never had access to the gospel.

We believe that everyone has the potential to make a difference in the world, and we are committed to helping people reach their full potential.
