About

Members of the LEAP Fund Development Committee will guide and support the effort by Linking Employment, Abilities and Potential to develop new and strengthen existing sources of revenue, in particular, unrestricted revenue, to strengthen LEAP’s annual operating budget. The Committee will also support and evaluate marketing activity that promotes LEAP’s strategic fund development objectives, and collaborate to build and enhance a strong Development infrastructure within the organization.

Member Responsibilities:

  • Commit to the mission, organizational values and specific fund development objectives of LEAP
  • Attend, in person or by phone, scheduled committee meetings (6 per year)
  • Participate in crafting an annual fund development strategy through meetings and trainings
  • Attempt to provide/secure additional donor contacts for LEAP (individual, corporate, foundation, etc.)
  • Contribute financially to LEAP and secure any available matching gifts from employer(s)
  • Serve as an ambassador for the mission of LEAP within the community
  • Attend/support LEAP special events as an agency representative
  • Provide feedback and recommendations regarding committee activities

Term:

1 year (6 scheduled committee meetings)
