Members of the LEAP Fund Development Committee will support the effort by Linking Employment, Abilities and Potential to develop new and strengthen existing sources of revenue, in particular, unrestricted revenue, to support LEAP’s annual operating budget. The Committee will also support marketing activity that promotes LEAP’s strategic fund development objectives, and collaborate to build and enhance a strong Development infrastructure within the organization.
Member Responsibilities:
- Commit to the mission, organizational values and specific fund development objectives of LEAP
- Attend, in person or by phone, scheduled committee meetings (6 per year)
- Participate in crafting an annual fund development strategy
- Attempt to provide/secure additional donor contacts for LEAP (individual, corporate, foundation, etc.)
- Contribute financially to LEAP
- Serve as an ambassador for the mission of LEAP out in the community
- Attend/support LEAP special events as an agency representative
- Provide feedback and recommendations regarding committee activities
Term: 1 year (6 scheduled committee meetings)

Founded and operated by people with disabilities, the agency provides information, education, training, and employment and independent living services to people with disabilities, including long-standing disabilities; disabilities acquired as a result of an accident, injury, or illness; or emerging disabilities resulting from work and life experiences
