The National Kidney Foundation is offering a free kidney health screening through its KEEP Healthy program. KEEP Healthy is the National Kidney Foundation’s (NKF) community-based educational initiative to raise awareness about the kidneys, risk factors for kidney disease, and steps to take to keep kidneys healthy and reduce risk.
Technical, General and Bilingual volunteers needed. 17 or over only. Volunteers needed to assist screening participants with filling out paperwork, check participants in, help participants through the process, measure height and weight, take blood pressure and record readings on paperwork. These volunteers must have legible writing and some may have to stand for an extended period of time.
Variety of general volunteer positions available. Also needed medical volunteers - RNs, Physicians, NPs, PAs, Dietitians, Physicians and Advanced Practitioners needed.
Volunteer training will be held at 10:00 am before the event begins with the actual screening beginning on FRIDAY, June 7, 2019 at 11:00 am - 2:00 pm (volunteers asked to plan to stay until 2:30 pm to assist with clean up).
