The National Kidney Foundation is offering a free kidney health screening through its KEEP Healthy program. KEEP Healthy is the National Kidney Foundation’s (NKF) community-based educational initiative to raise awareness about the kidneys, risk factors for kidney disease, and steps to take to keep kidneys healthy and reduce risk.

Technical/Medical, General and Bilingual volunteers needed. 17 or over only. Physicians, Advanced Practitioners, PAs, RNs, LPNs and Dietitians needed.

Healthcare Volunteers will assist screening participants as they complete an eight station screening including but not limited to, BMI measurements (height and weight), taking blood pressure and record readings on paperwork, consultation of risk factors, nutrition consultation. Some volunteers may have to stand for an extended period of time.

Healthcare Volunteer training will be held at 10:15 am, before the screening is open to the public with the actual screening beginning on FRIDAY, June 7 at 11:00 am - 2:00 pm (volunteers asked to plan to stay until 2:30 pm for clean up and allow the last attendees to complete screening).
