Volunteer for Arlington’s annual Black History Month event, the Feel the Heritage Festival, on Sat., Feb. 24, 1-6 p.m. at Drew Community Center. Volunteers can be a part of the planning committee for the event, or assist the day of with a variety of services. Volunteers can serve from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. or in one of the following shifts: 11 - 3 pm or 3 - 7 pm. Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age. Groups are encouraged to apply.

Description
DPR offers youth and adult sports leagues and instruction; wellness programs, afterschool recreation programs for youth, preschool programs, extensive network of recreational and wellness services for senior citizens, stewardship of public land (adopt-a-park, remove invasive plants, nature centers), and visual arts volunteer opportunties.
