We represent Audubon Society members in Northern Pinellas County and provide services to all who are interested: free local field trips with expert birders; inexpensive extended field trips within the US and to other locales, free monthly programs, volunteer & networking opportunities within the local conservation community; scholarships to local summer camps and speakers for a variety of classrooms and groups.
Clearwater Audubon is dedicated to conserving our environment in Pinellas County. We are involved in four main conservation projects: Project Colony Watch, Rooftop Nesting Least Terns, Bird Steward Program and the Eagle/Osprey Watch. Volunteers are needed for all the projects. We operate the Wild Raptor Sanctuary at Moccasin Lake Nature Park and maintain an office at that location. You do not have to be a birder or member to get involved.
