Stride into the history of the Springfield Mill Race on this beautiful 8K run along the new path. Racers are raving about the trail system, the distance and the unique medals awarded to finishers!
Volunteers are needed to help with event support, course marshaling and assistance with our after race pancake feed! Expect to have a great time, meet new people and celebrate this beautiful new path!

Description
Willamalane Park and Recreation District maintains and operates seven recreation facilities and 44 parks and natural areas that make up more than 1,500 acres. Highlights include Splash! at Lively Park, Camp Putt Adventure Golf Park, Wildish Community Theater, 13 waterfront areas, 21 miles of hiking and biking trails, 15 sports fields and 24 playgrounds. Willamalane offers hundreds of recreation programs to more than 60,000 patrons. Created by voters in 1944, Willamalane is a special tax district, separate from the city of Springfield, with its own boundaries. It is governed by a five-member, elected board of directors and managed by a district superintendent. Online information is available at willamalane.org
