December is a busy month at the Museum with several volunteer opportunities!
Wednesday, December 13 th: As a non-profit, CMSM provides volunteers for the Kiwanis Holiday Lights and in return we receive a cash donation at the end of the season. Thursday, December 21 st: Gateway to Play FREE Family Fun Night at the Children’s Museum! Families that experience barriers to Museum participation are invited to come and play free-of-charge, thanks to the generous sponsorship support of Wells Fargo. Description
Volunteering at the Children’s Museum of Southern Minnesota is an extraordinary way to give back to your community and engage children with the power of play. We have unique opportunities for volunteers to support the Museum by assisting visitors in hands-on exhibits or by helping with behind-the-scenes activities. Volunteers help the Museum fulfill its mission by sparking a lifelong love of learning in our children and in our community.
