We are hosting a Medicare Scams & Abuse Training for people interested in becoming a Certified Senior Medicare Patrol Instructor!
Medicare is a very complex health insurance program, which makes it prone to fraud & scams! This free training will teach:
- Foundations of Medicare
- Differences between healthcare Errors, Abuse, & Fraud
- Common & recent Medicare scams & fraud schemes
- How to protect yourself & your Medicare
- Ways to get involved after becoming a Certified Senior Medicare Patrol Instructor!
- Volunteer Instructors lead workshops on Medicare fraud & Healthcare scams around NYC!
Mission: The New York Senior Medicare Patrol works to empower seniors so that they can protect themselves against healthcare fraud, learn to detect errors on their medical statements and report Medicare abuse when suspected.
