Heaven's Door Cancer Foundation and Healing Home is hosting an area Holiday Christmas party on 12/21 from 11-5 for cancer patients and caregivers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I am a cancer survivor (ovarian, breast and spinal cancer) and am opening my 3rd home to give back to the cancer community. HDCF is looking for volunteer massage therapists who would like to assist that day. Would you please come to help? Heaven's Door Cancer Foundation is now collaborating with Texas Oncology to provide a free Bed & Breakfast for cancer patients and overworked caregivers and nurses. I started my foundation in 2005 after coming home from a double mastectomy. We are now national. I have recently moved from San Francisco to help my cancer brothers and sisters here in this area. The social services department and oncology nurses of Texas Oncology are excited about working with HDCF and will be attending the event. We will have food, music and gifts. HDF presenting Evans Relief Foundation has a two-fold purpose: to create hope during crisis and provide assistance during catastrophic events. Ms. Evans through her foundations has
- Assisted during political revolutions in Communist countries, providing clothing and empowerment counseling.
- Created clothing drives collaborating with private pilots during the Tsunami.
- During Katrina, provided assistance to stranded first time career employees, connecting them with employment agencies and providing airfare.
- Traveled to Genoa Italy to assist with the Italian Make A Wish foundation to search for locations to send patients.
- Provided homes for Joplin, MO tornado victims until their homes were rebuilt.
- Assisting in building churches on a Native American reservation
