ORGANIZATION: Best Buddies California

Best Buddies

The Best Buddies California intern provides support to the state operations and programs department. This position will also be responsible for general clerical work and other programmatic projects as assigned.

Best Buddies California seeks candidates with availability from January through June 2019. Candidates must be available to come into the office for 8-12 hours per week. We will work to accommodate any conflicts such as school and part-time work.

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent telephone etiquette
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Assist in general clerical work
  • Help with the creation and distribution of Best Buddies promotional and volunteer information
  • Proofread written materials
  • Internet-based research
  • Solicit in-kind donations
  • Support staff, as needed

This internship is unpaid. We will consider applicants under 18 on an individual basis. We will sign off on community service hours, High School or College Volunteer Hours or internship requirements.
