- The Department for Persons with Disabilities (DPD) is a Catholic Charities Agency in the Diocese of Paterson. DPD helps over 100 people with disabilities each day.
DPD runs several fundraisers and appeals throughout the year to help raise needed funds for people in need. Do you have experience in marketing, sales, or management? You can make a difference from your home by assisting our development team with our various events. Your support will make a difference in the lives of many!

Mission Statement
Consistent with the mission of the Diocese of Paterson, we provide residential, vocational, social and spiritual programs for persons with mental retardation and other developmental disabilities. We offer opportunities to become more active and valued members of society, and to participate fully in life with dignity and peace.
Description
We offer ten group homes and two supervised apartment programs for adults with developmental disabilities. We also offer an adult training center for 55 adults and many of the people in our homes attend this workshop. All of our residents go to workshops each day and all have annual goals to work on both at home and at work.
