During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
Looking for St. Louis animal lovers to help us out during the day - mornings or afternoons, week days and/or weekends, 2-3 hour shifts:
To provide care to the rescue animals at our facility, including cleaning rooms/enclosures, feeding, watering, restocking supplies, washing dishes, and socializing animals. Training begins with learning feline care, and can extend to canine opportunities in the future.
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.

Founded in 2000, Country Acres Rescue is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit, St. Louis based organization who’s primary concern lies with the overpopulation and unnecessary suffering of domestic animals in our community.
Country Acres Rescue is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, socialization and placement of homeless, abandoned, and abused/neglected cats, dogs, kittens, and puppies. At our West County shelter, we provide a safe, secure, and healthy environment to pets waiting for loving and caring adoptive homes. In addition, we are committed to promoting better care and understanding of animals through education with an emphasis on the importance of spaying and neutering.
We'll work with your schedule.
