Volunteers contact various high schools within the 56 school districts in the Inland Empire to promote advertising of our 2018-2019 scholarship opportunities. 10 districts will be assigned to each volunteer. Contact should be made with the high school counselor or coordinator in charge of scholarships/career/college information. The link for applications and a brief distribution of qualification will be provided to the volunteer. Follow up to assure that the information is posted or distributed will be required. The number of hours vary based on the time required to make contact and verify information.

Our goal is to provide underprivileged students individualized guidance that will bring more success and less financial burden.
Description
JLF provides students with an understanding and awareness of higher math and science, preparation for SAT and college entrance exams, financial aid assistance, life skills and career preparation. Through mentoring, advocacy, workshops, and financial assistance, Julia's Learning Foundation (JLF) empowers students ages 16 to 24 with the tools necessary to attain a college education.
