NOVA Pets Alive is committed to saving the lives of those shelter pets who are most at risk. These include all types of animals but especially medium and large dogs and small kittens. We need temporary foster caregivers and those who can care for a foster (or fosters) in their own home.
Some things we really need foster caregivers for are:
Weekend fosters
Transport fosters (a place to crash until they can get to their long-term foster)
A ride to the vet & from the shelter
Fosters who feel comfortable nursing ill kittens back to health
- Fosters who feel comfortable working with fearful/shy dogs and cats
