Editor/Writer for Urban Policy Handbook

National non-profit, Quiet Communities (Boston area; quietcommunities.org), seeks an Editor/Writer to assist with development of an urban policy handbook for municipal leaders and citizens.

QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent writing and communications skills, ability to work collaboratively with other team members. Experience with MS Word and familiarity with all review/editing functions and version control. Candidates with a background in urban planning, legal, and/or public policy will be favored. Academic requirement: Bachelors from accredited institution; Masters, PhD, or JD preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The project involves working directly with the Executive Director and Legal advisors to edit existing content, create new content, and develop reference lists, as needed.
