Researchers to Update Municipal Regulation Database (1-2 researchers)

National non-profit, Quiet Communities (Boston area; quietcommunities.org), seeks a diligent researcher to update a database of municipal regulations. Warning - It's fairly boring and tedious, but is badly needed. It's a good student project - undergraduate or graduate.

QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent research skills, attention to detail (!), and working familiarity with Excel. Candidates with a background in urban planning and/or public policy will be favored.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The project involves checking on the accuracy of items in an Excel database, updating with new regulations, formatting, tabulating, and creating a summary report. The project is estimated to take 80-120 hours. You will work directly with the Executive Director and Legal advisors.

Our mission is to transition landscape maintenance and other outdoor power industries to low noise, zero emissions practices with positive solutions to protect the health of workers, children, the public and the environment.
