America's Music Company (AMC) is seeking highly qualified, motivated individuals for board service in this new and innovative performing arts organization. This is an opportunity to establish a brand new art form for West Michigan, fill a creative space that is currently unoccupied, and help make West Michigan an even more vibrant place to live, work, and play.
The board's role is to oversee finances, conduct financial planning, oversee and plan marketing activities, and secure revenue streams to conduct the company's operations in support of our mission of getting people to see each other as more similar than different.
We are seeking individuals to advise and guide our marketing activities and financial planning for growth in the coming years.

We think people should treat each other better. We think that if people see each other as more similar to each other than different, then we are more likely to treat each other with kindness and understanding, rather than disdain and mistrust.
We believe music has the power to unite. Our goal is to use the music we all know and love, America's Popular Music, to make people think about the worl d around them differently.
We intend to show how elements such as rhythm, harmony and practice, originate in diverse regions around the world, and are essential to its vibrancy and innovation; and that unique combinations of these various and disparate elements of America's Popular Music by artists is the font of its overwhelming success; just as the disparate origins of the American people and their innovations are an essential element to our success as a nation.
America’s Music Company stages fast paced, high quality musical productions presenting popular music in an artistic, educational and entertaining manner. We use music to make people think about the world around them, and hopefully see themselves as being more similar to the people around them than different.
